Tokyo Headquarters
A rare, high-level production base handling
from planning to sewing in Tokyo

We have our own production line in Tokyo, which is unusual for companies based in the Capital City, as well as a swift system that allows us to start production immediately after planning.
Sumida-ku, Tokyo, where the Tokyo Sky Tree towers over the city; Maruwa Textile Industries' headquarters is located in Ryogoku, a downtown area where old meets new. Both the Edo-Tokyo Museum and the Hokusai Museum of Art are just three-minutes away from us.
Our Headquarters is home to our planning staff who tirelessly study the human body, human-friendly design, and beautiful sewing specifications, employees who constantly pursue the creation of comfortable clothes, as well as spaces to display fabrics, secondary materials, secondary processing, product samples and a wealth of the latest information. The Headquarters has a top-class domestic apparel knitwear production facility that can handle all aspects of planning, designing, cutting and sewing in-house, and is committed to providing made-in-Japan apparel products based on “Maruwa quality.”
【Value Creation Laboratory】
In April 2022, our Tokyo Head Office Factory was relaunched as the Value Creation Laboratory (nicknamed "KASOKEN").
Previously focused on producing samples and small-lot items, it has since evolved beyond simply being a manufacturing site — it now serves as a hub for creating new value.
With the belief that "even in high-cost areas like Tokyo, manufacturing is possible with the right mindset," we aim to refine our technical capabilities, nurture talent, and support the future of the apparel industry.
It is also utilized as an incubator space for passionate individuals such as young designers and influencers who are seriously committed to working in fashion.
Additionally, we are actively developing systems that promote the longevity of clothing, such as through remaking and repair services.
【Towards a Sustainable Society】
At our Tokyo Head Office, we have switched to 100% renewable energy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions that contribute to global warming.
Through this initiative, we are working to reduce CO₂ emissions from our headquarters.
What is renewable energy?
Renewable energy is derived from natural sources that can be replenished, such as solar, wind, hydro, biomass, and geothermal power.
It is a clean energy source that does not emit carbon dioxide (CO₂).

Visitors can experience sewing with industrial sewing machines, while we also provide information on processing and subsidiary materials, which can be used for corporate training and extracurricular classes. Factory tours are also available at the Aomori and Fukushima factories (no special curriculums are available).
※Currently, we are not conducting factory tours. Please contact us for details.
