Sustainability Sustainability

Our goal is to become a company of sustainable growth while being environmentally conscious and nurturing to our human resources.

We installed solar panels to our Aomori Factory, when it moved to its current location in 2009; by consuming the electricity generated, we are working to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions, and this has led to an increased awareness of energy conservation among our employees. In addition, we have acquired the KES (Environmental Management System Standard) STEP2 certification, participated in Challenge 25, and made other group-wide efforts to reduce our environmental impact. サスティナブル

While the average age of workers of the sewing industry is 60 years old, our Aomori Factory actively recruits and trains young people, and the average age of the factory is under 45 years old, making it a factory attracting younger generations. Our Shirakawa Factory works closely with the Headquarters to develop technologies to enhance the unique technologies used in the factory branding business. In recognition of our achievements in training technicians and handing down skills, our Shirakawa Factory received the Award of Excellence of the Tokyo Governor's Award for Technical Talent Development for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises.

In addition, we gather information on eco-friendly and high-performance materials through our extensive domestic and overseas networks, developing environmentally friendly products.
